Digital Controllers
This type of controllers uses the internal MCU for PID calculation and conducts control so that the process variable (measured value) matches the target value (set point value).
On the front panel, there are digital displays of the measured and the setpoint values.
Actual control requires a sensor for getting the process variable as input and an output device to control the load such as a heater.
Digital controllers may be called digital controllers/temperature controllers.
